      Wink Feel like my body is deformed... (floating...)

      Hey

      I need help.
      When I try Wild technique or relaxation technique after 30 mins I feel like my body is deformed, or sometimes I feel floating, rotate ... But I see nothing I just feel it.

      Do you feel the same ?
      What can I do to go further, enter the dream ??

      In my opinion, those are normal physical sensations that can accompany a WILD attempt, and it can greatly vary from person to person. I suggest you check this out, as it provides in-depth info on it.

      I did get the floating feeling twice. Both times it turned into OBE. Once, without my consent, second time I willed myself to move and my astral body obliged. You can try to exit by saying "Now I'm out of body" or just simply "up".

      I had the rotating, floating as if on waves, movement back and forth sensation once, when doing simple breathing excercise. Tried to induce OBE, but couldn't.

      And the feeling of being deformed happened once during transition to DEILD.

      I believe, that all these sensations can be felt when close to falling asleep. Hope, some of this helps.

      So You think is like part of Hypnagogic Imagery ?
      I think I should just relax my body more and more ... because when i begin to rotate/float my shoulders begin to contract a little bit

      That's the consensus. But I got OBE out of it a couple of times, and that's how it feels when your astral body exits your body. If you believe in OBEs, read some websites for more descriptions of the process. You may find something, that matches your experience. If you like some links, send me a PM.

      I found this :

      You should keep your mind clear and NEVER think/feel/etc about your physical body. Think about blue sheep if you have to keep your mind off of your body.
      Hmmmm, so you get the floating feeling?? Congrats!

      Once you get the floating feeling, do one of these two things:

      1. Do nothing, just let the separation process happen. Keep your mind clear.

      2. (This is what I do – works great for me)
      When you get the floating feeling and even before it…… feel your lungs being filled up with helium. Feel yourself getting lighter and lighter like a balloon. Feel yourself with each breath you take that you are getting lighter and floating slowly up.
      Breathe in – feel yourself getting lighter.
      Breathe out – do nothing. just enjoy the floating feeling
      This will make the floating feeling STRONG. REALLY REALLY strong. You will then feel the seperation taking place and it is VERY IMPORTANT here that you do not think of anything. Just stay focused on staying focused.

      3. You can say a mantra before or during the vibrational stage.
      You can find these astral projection mantras in the Astral projection/OBE course on gnostic web.
      (or just do a simple good search for astral projection mantras) Gnosticism mantras work very well.

      There is more techniques how to exit, like rope, ladder, rotating and such. Mantras can also be used. But this is such a huge topic, you would be better off to read more about it.

      And yes, excitement can throw you off. Just realize it and calm yourself down, so you can continue.
