It just takes time and practice. This is not a truely easy hobby. As far as I know most people must focus for weeks before they start having LDs, then many of the first ones are only seconds long. Stick to it. I do not know if anyone has LDs all the time. The very best LDers claim a few a week, but normally no one claims it is every night. Many experienced members have a couple a month.

WBTB Help
Just wanted to say quickly thanks for all the support around here for newb LD'ers. Its a great and friendly environment. Thank you all.
I tired WBTB sleep last night and I woke up and stayed up for around 40 mins and ended up falling asleep and having a dream, over the course of 3 hours or so I had multiple dreams and woke up a few times but fell back into another dream. Problem is, I cant seem to do anything, the dreams just take over and I'm powerless to do anything. I'm sure everyone has this "normal" dreams where it's just a dream and not lucid. Is this because I had no induction technique or not doing it properly? I tired a mantra for a while like "I will lucid dream" and eventually just fell asleep but just had a uncontrolled dream. Is there a better way to do the WBTB? I happy I was able to get the dreams in WBTB but that's pretty easy I guess, just need to know the next step to being able to recognize I'm in the dream after WBTB. I know RC checks are good, but I can never perform them because the dream just flows on without my conscious thought controlling it
Sorry for all the text, wanted to explain it as best as I could.
Thanks guys!
