is it possible to WILD in a comfy chair?

i have been trying for 2 years to wild (not very often, and 99% of the time before sleep at night) on my bed but i have never even experienced vibrations... so maybe i should start trying on my chair...does anyone else do it in a chair?

Wow you do know it almost impossible to wild before sleep. You are meant to WILD adter a few hours of sleep or before a nap. Obviously you've never WILDed since you've been trying when your body wasn't ready to enter a dream yet. How about you have a read through this,
      http://www.dreamviews.com/f79/mzzkcs...-guide-105484/
Here is a quote from mzzkc's guide
While yes, it is possible to WILD before getting any sleep whatsoever, WILDs such as this won't last very long and the quality of the LD will be horrendous. Furthermore, it will take more than an hour to pull off, assuming you know what you're doing and won't mess up at all. Compare this to a WILD attempt after six or more hours of sleep, where REM is mere minutes away and may last a very long time.

Regular sleep schedule would benefit you greatly in WILD terms because it will make it easier to count sleep cycles and wake up during or right after REM. That's not only the time where you want to wake up, but also offers you better dream recall for that time.

Like said above, try WILDing after 6 hours of sleep, that way you won't have to wait ages to start feeling the effects of stage transition. But be patient! Not all WILDs mean that you'll feel all sorts of buzzy sensations, your primary and only goal is to relax and fall asleep, keep that in mind!

I agree, you MUST enter REM then wake up before attempting to WILD. I'm sure you'll get it soon enough if you put in the effort to set an alarm clock or take naps. And yes, you can WILD in a chair. I did my first WILD sitting upright on my coach as if it were a chair.

If you can fall asleep in a comfy chair, you can WILD there.

My favorite place to WILD is a sofa, my back proped up by a few pillows, so I'm half-sitting. For WILDing/OBEing, place other than your normal sleeping place is preffered, because that's one other way to tell yourself that you are up to something else, instead of just normal sleep.

If you can fall asleep there. You can WILD.

I always WILD before bed because I can do it and it's the only time I get the chance to do it.

But I also have managed to WILD in an exam before because I was very very tired. But that was a one off experience. :p

Basically, it's not a generalized thing. It's something that is specific to you and only you. I probably break most of the usual rules/expectations. :L

What the...weren't you busy writing the exam? I'm surprised they would let you sleep. At my university, sleeping during an exam would get you kicked out on charges of suspected cheating.

This is the beauty of being smart. I can finish an hour and a half exam in about 35 minutes. Leaving lotsa time. :p

It was a small exam. There wasn't many of us so the invigilators didn't really care. And they're only low exams. Don't count for a lot.

Murgh. We can't. You have to be in the exam hall for the amount of time they set you. No more, no less. It's stupid. :L

Considering I experienced my first hallucinations at a school desk, I'd say yes.
