Can't stay aware long enough :/

Well, the title practically says it all, but I'm pairing WILD with MILD, so I'll be laying there, repeating my mantra in my head (which never makes it into my dreams anyway) and apparently I fall asleep... with no sucessful LD. I'm really looking for tips, as I haven't had a LD in quite a while e-e any help would be extremely helpful c:

thanks, and good luck to you ♥

the only time i am able to WILD, I know i am able to depending on how tired i am. Its weird, unless you have experienced the WILD process before then you probably will not know what to look for. I would try to get into DEILDs. Once you figure out how DEILDs work, then they will translate into helping your WILDs.

Usually what i do, is if i wake up and my body is relaxed and im able to fall asleep right away. I will just find the most comfortable position. Envision a scenario, like me walking through my work, then slow down my breathing and sink through my bed. If im in the right mindset, it works 25% of the time.

It sounds like you are trying to WILD with no previous sleep. I would recommend 5-6 hours of sleep. Get up for 15 minutes and then try WILD. The transition should be a lot better.

If you are already doing this, then I would recommend changing the time you wake up and the amount of time you are awake for. Just by moving it around you should be able to see if that helps or makes it worse. Keep this up until you know the "Prime time" for your WILDs.
