Last sleep cycle in the morning, after you have had lots of sleep already.

My successful WILD happened in afternoon nap. However, last sleep cycle in the morning should work, too. So let's say you go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 5am, and you know you have time to fall back asleep one more time. That's a good time to WILD because after 7hours of sleep already, you will not necessarily go into NREM sleep, but you can enter into REM by using a WILD.
I agree with JoannaB, in general that's the way to go if you have normal sleeping schedule, though we can't say what exactly is really the best time for you, cause the best time varies from person to person by many factors, it's a path of trial and error to take. :zzz:
