      Angry WILD& Sleep Paralysis Question

      I wake up at around 4:00 in the morning, and I try to WILD. I try the Stop, Drop and Roll technique so I put my arms above my head but after a few minutes I don't even feel the slightest sensation of putting it down as a rollover signal. Am I doing something wrong?

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

      Sorry, I have heard about drop and roll, but not familiar with it. I don't believe having a rollover signal is something that's necessary to achieve a WILD. In fact, best thing is not to pay any attention to your body. That's the best way to lose track of it and enter dream world.

      And unless you having regular SPs, because you have SP disorder (being paralyzed before or after you are in a dream), SP is not a part of WILDing and should not be something you try to achieve, or get past, or even think about.

      Please check out this basic WILD.
      And lot more detailed info here WILD

      Please ask if you have any questions. Happy dreams

      You bought the book Exploring The World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen Laberge? Same with me you must be paralyzed (sleep paralysis) in order to achieve those methods. You must be unable to move, follow the vibrations and imagine you're floating upwards, or sinking downwards, or even imagine you roll out of your physical body. If you're able to move after imagined those things, you will see your physical body sleeping on the bed, just ignore it and explore your environment. It could be an OBE or AP, or even LD. it will be very vivid after you becoming Lucid so perform some reality checks such as breathing test, pinch your nose and breath.

      @QaimNaqvi

      Yo, i suggest you to follow gab's advice here, for WILD you just need to fall asleep while being aware, check out the linked tutorials.

      @JimmyChung

      No, SP experience is not and never was a requirement for WILD, i highly suggest you to read this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...explained.html

      Hi QaimNaqvi,

      There is no rollover signal, and if there were it would have nothing to do with WILD, the aim of WILD is to fall asleep consciously, not reach sleep paralysis (which only occurs when you are already in a dream).

      The creator of the stop, drop and roll technique, Nicholas Newport, is a fraudulent scammer who has no experience in lucid dreaming and uses pseudo-science and marketing to try and get you to buy his video series. I suggest you promptly forget everything you've learnt from his videos and check out Sageous' WILD class.

      He did attempt after some sleep, and that's correct. Also, not his fault that he found Lucidology first.

      "Hmmm....it seems my talents are not needed here. Most impressive!

      Farewell good citizens! Keep it up and I'll be out of a job!"

      *with a hearty guffaw, our hero turns and flies off--into the sunset--towards new horizons and the ever-present cry of the uninformed, yearning for understanding*

      I forgot to mention this thread, that explains what are the sensations some of us experience during WILDing. (HINT: It's not SP)
