      Loss of focus during WBTB

      Hey all!

Lately I've been trying WILD during WBTB, and I have found that I fall asleep far too quickly. I try to count or repeat mantras, but at some point I just slip into unconsciousness.

I plan to combat this by staying awake a bit longer, but I feel that my brain just doesn't like to remain focused coming right out of sleep.

What activities could I do that would reactivate my mind's ability to focus without pulling me away from "dream thoughts"?

      Thanks!

Try listening to some music at first with your attempt or use cognition to cognitively point out in your head which images and sounds are causing you to lose focus and write them down. If you do not wish to write them down, then just make a mental note every so often that what you are thinking about while laying down is negative and keeping you from your goals. This usually always works for me since starting.
