a little help did it work?

Okay Hello first Im new here and kinda didn't know at what section to post this so i just came here don't be angry if its the wrong section :P

I tried doing WILDs 2 days ago and I'm new to it so before yesterday nothing happened, yesterday I started feeling vibrations and never saw lights nor patterns my eyes just went insane while its closed it moved super fast everywhere and i got excited and focused to much and woke up. >.<

when I went on a nap today I said i'll try a WILD I started feeling vibrations and tingles then i started counting my breath 1-50 i lost my way at like 25 or something then i lost my consciousty when I got it back I remembered (as sound only) that i was talking to a friend and there was some laughter behind us or something so I said maybe it was a dream but it didn't fully work so i re-tried lost my consciousty again and when i got it back I also remembered few things that like just happened, but I don't remember seeing any thing or having control :( so is that like I did something wrong or idk? I've been trying to lucid dream for a while so I wanna ask if im starting to get successful or what.

WILD is the hardest technique, the images and patterns are called Hypnagogic Imagery, just do this:keep thinking about something and do NOT let your mind wander, you will feel vibrations and soon after the HI and hallucination sounds will start, after that you will feel extremely unconfortable, ignore this and you're finished. That happened for me anyway. No, you are on the right track.

Not everybody has the same hallucinations. In fact, they can be very different, even for the same person on different occasions. Or, they may be so mild, yo don't even notice them. They could also be absent.

If you wait for something that someone tells you you must have, you may miss out on your chance. That something you waiting for may never come. But that doesn't mean you will not get a LD without them.

Out of maybe 300 attempts, I heard sounds maybe 5 times, or even less. I used to have vibrations almost every time, but not any more. I used to have images, but again, not any more. Or, they happen only once in a while. See what I'm getting at?

Don't wait for anything, especially not with excitement.

I guess you started to practise WILD because you wanted control of the induction itself right?
How is waiting for a light pattern and random sounds an act of control? It's more like an act of waiting in frustration.
I guess the picture of WILD you got right now is that if you just relax your body and mind and stay aware you will just automatically get to the dream.

And well that is not true at all, you don't automatically get to the dream, you are in control the whole time!

You can transition to a dream right now in seconds if you just focused your awareness. Relaxation only makes it easier for you to understand how.

I have waited for 2 hours in my bed laying still and being aware without anything happening after a WBTB, that's when I realized that relaxation and waiting is not the answer. However then another night I did it on my bedtime and I got a lucid dream in just a few minutes and I then started to suspect that it doesn't have to do with relaxation at all.

I then stumbled upon a man called Robert Monroe and his theory of Focus levels and along with that some quantum physics explaining the consciousness effect on particles and waves. Well basically a whole new theory of what reality means. And they said that wherever your focus of awareness is, is your reality. Amazed by the matrix and my philosophical interest I started look more into this and then I found a guy called Frank Kepple that explained how he had learned to use something called phasing. Which is to turn your awarness 180 degrees from this physical reality to the non-physical (dream).

I listened to his advice and started to practise WILDing in a perspective of switching/ moving my focus of awareness rather than practising relaxation or inducing hypnagogic states or even falling asleep. And my whole world was turned upside down.

You can read about my attempts and experiences in my DJ. Although what I want to tell you is that you don't need to find a perfect timing or a special state of mind that you use to transition in. All you need is to transition, and you do that by moving your focus of awareness to the non-physical (dream).
By for example focusing on a visualization or an imagination. And when you forget about your physical body, since you are so engaged in the visualization, you will be there.

Although the hypnagogic state and relaxation and sleep makes it naturally easier for you to visualize more vividly or direct your focus of awareness, so just continue to do what you do but take this idea into account while you are practising. For example don't try to feel if your body is relaxed, or worry about staying up too little or too late on your WBTB, or to look for vibrations. All you need is to visualize yourself and fully go into it.

If you wait for it to happen automatically the induction and transition is no longer in your control. Atleast it is less in your control.

Good luck! I hope I didn't made it sound advanced or difficult, because it isn't I am basically explaining daydreaming.
And by explaining the focus theory I hope to erase some limiting beliefs and limitations that new WILDers put on themselves, just like I did.

So I said I'll do one more WILD before I try other things. I layed there on my bed still concentrated on my breath then I started thinking about some stuff in my life then in a while I didn't feel my body and I felt like my bed was so high (floating) and a big blue not black this time like screen took over my vision I started to try to enter a dream but I couldn't so I tried to create a dream but I couldn't so I kept thinking about how my dream will be (with all details) well and I fell asleep, I had a very vivid dream and I woke up as soon as it end and I remembered it with all its details but I was to lazy to write it in my DJ anyway i slept again and this happened for 4 times and I didn't write any in my dream journal but the sad thing none of them was lucid :( and now I only remember three out of the four >_< So the question how to achieve lucidity while WILDing?

Did you read some of the tutorials here on DV? Especially the one I linked you in my above post? It explaines the whole proces in great detail.
You really should start writing your dreams down.
