How long does it take to have a successful WILD?

I attempted WILD today… I lay in my bed for 30 minutes. I could feel my body half-asleep, almost paralyzed, and I was just watching the hypnagogia, but for 30 minutes, nothing happened. My body didn't move at all but I was anxious, I could feel adrenaline in my body. Is this normal? Should I have waited longer?

^^ There is more to WILD than holding still for a while, Lololol. I suggest you carefully read DV's tutotial on WILD before your next attempt.

That said, yes, you could certainly have waited longer. I suggest you let your WILD atttempt go on for about 90 minutes before giving up for the day.

Also, if you can feel adrenaline in your body, you will likely have a real problem getting to sleep. Try to calm down, be patient, and remember that one major facet of WILD is allowing your body to fall asleep.
