I'm not an experient WILD dreamer. I had about 3 sucessful WILD attempts, 2 of them unintentional. I can answer your questions based on my little beginner experience.
1)It varies. It can be short (around 3 minutes) or long (around 15 minutes)
2)Yes, if you wake up suddenly in the middle of a dream. I guess this is one of the main reasons you feel sleep paralysis.
3)Yes. From the very beginning when you close your eyes, to all the process of your body relaxing, preparing for a dream, and the formation of a dream and the dream itself. It's pretty amazing.
4)I guess that can happen if you loose lucidity. But if you are focused on having a dream, that should not happen. You'll notice all the process.
5)Sometimes, yes. For me, WILD is somewhat exausting if you try to enter a dream and WILD is not doing it for you. I lost some hours of sleep because of this.
Maybe i'm wrong about some answers, i don't know. Experience WILD'ers, feel free to correct me.

Hello and welcome to DV! :)
1-2. First of all Sleep Paralysis is not required in order to have a lucid dream, be it WILD or DILD. Actually, unless you belong to a minor group of people that experience the true phenomenon of SP, you do not need to worry about it. WILD is about falling asleep as usual, but at the same time keeping your mind gently awake in the process.
Here is more on Sleep Paralysis:
SP Explained
3. Usually, it is likely that you would remember a lucid dream you had, unless you fall asleep after that and can forget it like any other dream.
4. Having a WILD or any other LD i.e. lucid dream, means you are aware, you know that you are dreaming. That awareness may be high or low, you may also lose that awareness if you become distracted. However, with practice you can learn to have long lasting lucid dreams where more items of the dream can be controlled if you like to.
5. It can take time to induce a lucid dream with the WILD technique. That involves getting an adequate amount of sleep 4-6hrs, doing a wbtb of varying length and then the attempt itself, which can take any amount of time.
In addition, I would recommend that you check out our tutorials and get acquainted with the various techniques to become lucid. Even if you want to start with WILD, it may be a good idea to check out other techniques such as DILD and read more about reality checks and awareness.

No problem. Well, if you by chance ever find yourself in a state where you are unable to move or so, just be calm and regard it as part of the transition, like a waiting room. You simply need to wait and either the dream will pick up soon or you can be proactive and imagine yourself floating up. Think of joyful music if something is ever bothering you. Good luck! :)

One thing i noticed and i never read it on what we feel when we WILD is the awareness of REM, or so i think it is. With this, i mean, noticing your eyes moving rapidly.
When my WILD is on the right track, i feel the usual vibrations, buzz sound, etc. But right before those feelings, i notice my eyes going left to right very quickly without my control. This is for only a few seconds. Then, it stops when imagery becomes to take from.
Do you guys notice your REM's also?

That's a really interesting observation DreamHighlander. I usually don't pay attention to my eyes, but possibly it's true for most of us. One thing I have noticed sometimes is that my breathing rhythm tends to switch once I fall asleep.
