Unhappy Need help from an expert to induce Lucid Dreaming

well, m posting this thread to find out how to improve my skills of Lucid Dreaming. first let me mention that, I already had Lucid Dreams a couple of times, two of them were "WILD" and intentional and the others were unintentional just like i was in a normal dream and suddenly i became aware that i was dreaming and i became Lucid. Now the help m seeking for is, my last "WILD" Lucid Dream happened 5 days ago from now. the method i used was, i woke up after 6 or 7 hours of my sleeping by alarm, then after 10-15 minutes i went to sleep again, when i kept saying in my mind that m gonna Lucid Dream. It happened and i was very happy. (I will share my experiences in another thread) My another and first "WILD" intentional Lucid Dream happened in 11th October by following the same procedure, but the problem is now m trying to induce it again in the same way and either nothing is happening or m falling asleep and get into normal dreams. Please someone help me, i want to do it everyday and whenever i want. Later i have an intention to "Astral Travel" too. thanks for reading.

Hi there, first of all you shouldn't write posts with that big yellow typography, it's a bit annoying to read you know

I recommend you to read this if WILD works well with you: WILD
Also here you have multiple techniques: Induction Techniques

      Good luck!

Hey, welcome to dreamviews and, like GigaByte777 said, please don't overuse size/colors.
As for WILDing, firstly, congrats on lucid dreams and you are doing great for a start, it can take some experimenting with WBTB times to find perfect time and it"s different from person to person, so you can try that, also how much you wake up during WBTB can affect that too and can be worth experimenting with as well. Also remember that lucid dreaming is a skill, and it takes practice, and practice, which will take time, but be confident and patient and i am sure eventually you will reach your goal.
The links GigaByte777 posted definitely worth checking as well.

ok Gigabite and Scionox i will use normal size and colors. Thanks for ur information anyway, today morning i had another lucid dream but i dont think that was WILD. I woke up and went back to sleep that was as usual but this time i didn't entered a LD intentionally. I started a normal dream but later after a sign i just got that m dreaming and became Lucid. Btw this time i had less control and later for false wakening i lost in normal dream again any suggestion?

Congrats on another lucid! And control will improve with practice, keep trying and experimenting with different methods and be sure to be 100% confident! Also this tutorial can help: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...m-control.html
As for false awakenings, do reality check every time you wake up to catch them!

How the hell are you doing it? I still never had a lucid dream and I've been trying to WILD for like two months! PLEASE, tell me EXACTLY what you're doing. I realize I recently started forgetting to use my mantra ("dreamer" - good or bad mantra?) and I've just been trying to visualise it in my head, but nothing sinks in for me. No idea why, at all. I haven't really put much thought to it in the day (except until like 3 days ago when I started doing reality checks every now and again) and when I come to the time I just think "Oh well, it's 3 in the morning, I may as well give it a go." HELP ME PLEASE, GUYS!!!

It's easier to WILD if you've already had lucid dream, and it takes practice, lucid dreaming is a skill and style of life, it's not something that you can get by simply following steps. And asking for exact steps is not really a good idea because just so many things vary from person to person.
Mantra is good as long as it is meaningful for you and as long as you like it.
Also, since it haven't worked out for so long maybe you should try different method/technique like DILD/MILD, which is better for starters, or DEILD, and that you started doing reality checks is very good, be sure to continue doing them and actually believe that you might be dreaming when doing them.
And finally, relax, be more positive about it and enjoy the process itself, not only result!

Hey Shadowsharpeye, like Scionox said, WILD is usually not easy. I find I just fall asleep or it takes ages. I think there are 2 problems that make WILD difficult. 1st it's a very delicate balance to stay aware enough and not fall asleep, and often you just end up "off balance", asleep or awake. The other is that I believe that the actual waking can reset your sleep clock, so that the next cycle where REM is likely might be 90 minutes away. I have had 2 frustrating WILD LDs where it literally took me 2 hours or so to get lucid (but even then just a very short one!). It's not a technique that you can use regularly because it deprives you of sleep!
One technique I plan to try is to wake naturally after a dream (I do this anyway) at about 3-4 am, then set an alarm for about 60 minutes later and do a WBTB then. That way I hope to not disturb my REM cycle and do the WBTB just before a next dream. The WBTB needs to be a DEILD type technique I think, where you simply turn off the alarm and immediately try to WILD, moving as little as possible with no light disturbance, otherwise you might reset the REM cycle and have another 90 minute wait! That's just a theory of mine, so it could be garbage!
