So I'm relatively new to this whole WILD method, and I've been practicing DILD's throughout the day with reality checks, unfortunately with no success yet.
The problem here is that I see so many different ways of WILD-ing, and I'm not sure which one I should use. I preferably want to use one that involves going straight into a WILD lucid dream before sleep. I've tried waking myself up 5-7 hours after I fall asleep and not matter how long I wake up, I'll always fall asleep without being aware, and if I stay up too long I can't fall back asleep :(
I think I successfully managed to get into sleep paralysis two days ago, but got a bit too excited and nervous, I woke myself up again... :/ So I was wondering what has worked for you to achieve a WILD the best? And what tips could you give me (I can't fall asleep on my back and sleep on my side, and I'm a probably average falling-asleeper) :P
P.S. Another strange thing that happened to me was when I was trying to clear my mind and just be aware without thinking too much, my eyes started hurting, is this normal? Is there any way to prevent it?
