    Thread: WILDing with morning news ?

      WILDing with morning news ?

      Hi friends !

      Have you tried to WILD while listening to radio news?

      I thought this might be a good experiment because lately i have experienced a few accidental LDs after waking up to hear morning news ( WBTB ? ) and then returning slowly to sleepiness while adjusting the radio volume accordingly, always remaining in bed.

      It seems that listening someone talking on the radio ( not to mention TV ) makes me sleepy, i just found out . I think most people have the same tendency... and so this might work for people who have a hard time falling back asleep after WBTB.

      Haha, yeah, I use to fall asleep while watching TV all the time. I have even WILDed like that. Then in my lucid, I heard the TV and was desperately trying to "mute" it with my dream remote. Didn't work : P

      I found the sounds that were bleeding into my LD distracting. So even if at first it seemed like a great idea (since I can fall asleep so good watching TV), I don't do it anymore. I may get myself sleepy watching it, but then I get nice and ready, I just shut it down. I used to just mute it, but I have found even the "flashes" of TV screen distracting. Especially, when I was trying to pay attention to the back of my closed eyelids.

      Radio doesnīt have that problem , and i put the volume lower again and again so that sound isnīt a problem too.

      But itīs not something that i do with lucid intention, just to see if there are some positive news about economics or so, and then of course canīt help but fall asleep.
