Had my first WILD!
This morning I acquired my first WILD. So far, all my other LD's have been DILD's. I haven't put much effort into trying to WILD, but for the last few nights I have, and I got results quick. Mine was a bit different than what I have read about, in the fact that I didn't get SP, or hear any weird noises; nor did I sense any vibrations. I did however, enter this weird limbo of being in a luminous, thick, blue liquid with lots of bubbles before I shot at high speed into the dream (airborne.) I was shooting around inside this huge church full of people like a balloon with the air suddenly let out of it. It took me a bit to land, and finally stabilize the dream a bit by smelling of the wooden floor (that's the first time I have stabilized a dream with a sense other than touch, or the first time I have smelled anything in a LD for that matter.)
The quality of the WILD was not great by any means, but it was okay I suppose. I have had much more vivid and engaging LD's through DILD thus far. I will continue to try WILD further, and see what happens though.

Congratulations to your first of many!
Just a small comment - what people refer to as SP with connection to WILDing, is not really SP. It used to be called that, but in error. Vibrations, hallucinations, sounds, sensations... they are all signs of falling asleep.
We may/may not notice them, or we may/may not have different ones every time we WILD. As you just proved to yourself, you don't need to have or notice any of them to have a WILD. happy dreams:alien:
