Would this be properly called WILD or something else?

Although I haven't yet intentionally attempted WILDs, there have been a few rare cases over the years where I've abruptly caught myself in a falling-asleep state and managed to ride it all the way down into a LD. The only caveat, it seems, is that I can't prove that I had been fully conscious all the way from fully awake to falling asleep without breaks; usually, it seems I may lose consciousness very briefly while falling asleep, but then “come back” during the process.

I figured I'd ask because someone mentioned an experience like this in another thread somewhere, and there was some expressed doubt from some over whether that would properly be called a WILD due to the lapse in consciousness, suggesting that it might be more of a DEILD or WBTB kind of thing instead.

In my case, here is what has happened exactly. Usually, I will naturally wake up for a moment partway through sleep (without getting out of bed), then start going back to sleep. On occasion, I'll somehow regain awareness but the rest of my body is still going to sleep—usually I get an “underwater” type of rumbling in my ears, rarely some tingling, and occasionally some HI but usually not much (just some visual swirls; rarely some faint sounds, and that's about it). In many cases, I either get too nervous or concentrate a bit too hard and ultimately wake back up, but in rare cases, I can relax enough and eventually (after about a minute or so, not very long) observe a dream form around me. It often lasts only a minute or so before I wake up, but it happens.

Anyway, the bottom line is that I have been definitely conscious, without breaks, starting from at least some point in the wake-to-sleep transition to the point where the dream forms, and I'm fully aware of what's going on and that's it's a dream that is forming (though I may do an RC for verification since it often takes place with me opening my eyes right in my room and is otherwise indistinguishable from simply waking back up and getting out of bed).

Would you say that's still called a WILD?
