      I'm scared to do wild

Okay I sound like a pussy right now, but I've been trying to LD for a couple of weeks, no succes so a couple hours ago I read on about wild so I tried it.

I layed in my bed, waited 10 mins did reverse blinking. After 2 minutes of doing so I told myself to stop doing it, so I did. I was about to change position, but then suddenly my eyes started to shake like crazy. Something else in my body started to shake too. I told myself not to get excited, so I did not, but I was suddenly scared that I might see something scary so I opened my eyes and am typing this right now on my phone..

So Im just wondering will anything scary happen?

Also im gonna try again maybe I can do it.

Edit: I just tried it again, my head felt really lighty and weird, my body started to shake. I was not scared at all but my heart rate went 140 WPM so that kinda scared me so I went out of it again.. I'm all alone in the house in the dark and im 15 so I will try later when there are people cuz im scared.

Try to redirect all of your attention to your anchor until you see you're dreaming. If you do this, you will stay calm, which will minimize the chance of anything scary happening.

I'll admit that when I did my first couple of WILDs it was also pretty unnerving. Remember that it's all in your head and you can't hurt yourself entering a dream this way. After you successfully find yourself in a dream I think you'll find the experience pretty cool and unique each time. One time I had a dream that flickered on like a projector set, only to speed up and become more consistent

An anchor is anything that keeps your mind occupied while you're waiting for the dream. It should be something that keeps you self-aware long enough to reach REM, yet dreamy enough allow you to fall asleep.

Some examples of anchors are counting breaths, mantras, and visualizations.
