I would like to get a discussion started on how to instant lucid dream. Based on my experience I'm convinced its possible, and I would like to read how other people think about it, or what their experiences are.
Our perspectives are either enabling or disabling us. If you want to do something you have to set your mind to it. That said, I want to instant lucid dream, anywhere, anytime.
When I sit down, and I close my eyes, I am sucked into some kind of dreamlike scenario in a couple of minutes. It is very fragile, when I notice it, it is gone and I can only remember the last fragments of it. Sometimes I can remember a whole lot more. And thus it seems that only in those couple of minutes of sitting down with my eyes closed I have experienced some kind of dream already. It contains vivid images, sound, feelings, emotions, a story, everything... I come to think of I am dreaming whole day long. If you google on that, you will find others to agree.
Now last time I did this after waking up in the night: I went downstairs and I was focussing on how it would be to instant lucid dream. I was sucked in a dreamlike scenario, just like I get sucked in during daytime in no-time. I did some WILDs so I know how it is like, but this was different. Like I said it was the same experience as when I sit down with my eyes closed during day time. Only now I was able to become lucid, I deliberately changed something in the scenario and I 'popped out', the experience was over, right after changing something, I could just experience the result of me changing the scenario with my will. It was like ["hey this doesn't have to be like that, I do it my way, He I am .."] lucid.. and the experience ended ([ ] = the moment in the dreamlike state) .
In all things you can see patterns, like fractals, or whatever. I can recall my first lucid dream years ago, I was so excited that I became lucid that I immediately woke up. And the experience I described above felt pretty much the same.
So why should I set my believe to only be able to lucid dream during the night after having slept for so long? I can imagine that when you are submerged in a dream for a long time during the night it is easier to maintain in that dream modes and becoming lucid.
But my experience convinced me I could instant lucid dream. I only need to be able to stabilize/control the state, insteading of waking up/acting out of it. Just like most people experience waking up to physical reality when noticing they are dreaming for the very first times.
What do you think?
Thanks for reading!
