Does this count as a WILD or was it something else?

Last night, I attempted to do a WILD when I woke up at 7 AM (accidentally). I tried lying on my back but it made me feel kind of uncomfortable, scared and vulnerable for some reason so I rolled onto my side. I was really fidgety and had trouble falling asleep, and was sure it would fail.
However, I did have a lucid dream that night (my 3rd one ^^ I haven't had a success in forever, my last one was months ago!) which was probably my most successful one. However, I don't remember the WILDing process at all, I didn't experience any of the things I read about where it happens slowly. I just went to sleep, suddenly I was in a dream, and I instantly knew I was dreaming and lucid and thought 'cool!'.
Does this count as a WILD? Or was I just sleeping normally and then the dream started and because I was thinking about it, I recognized it instantly?

For more information about the dream itself, it started on a beach at sunset. I was pretty excited but before doing anything else I tried to stabilise by rubbing my hands together and looking around, but it already seemed pretty stable before that. I knew school was over but I thought a school time setting would be cool for some reason so I decided that school was still on and went into what looked like some kind of huge theatre on the seaside, but which turned out to be a school cafeteria when I entered. I wanted to go talk to people but looks like I'm still shy in dreams, I couldn't bring myself to approach anyone. I performed a reality check to ensure I was dreaming and reassure myself, and when I looked at my hand I had plenty of extra fingers like I anticipated, but I was still nervous so I went out of there and outside. However, I think some kind of gang was approaching and I got nervous as I went up a street outside the building so I started flying. It took a bit of effort and sometimes I almost fell out of the sky but I managed to keep flying. I'm not entirely sure about all the details after that, I think I lost lucidity after a while, it became less vivid anyway and I just went along with the plot of the dream, which I remember but won't go into detail on since its irrelevant. But it was pretty cool. I was quite confident which I think is why I had a fair amount of control before I lost lucidity and was able to fly and stuff, I didn't think about dream control techniques or anything I was just like 'this is my dream, I do what I want' and it worked.

But anyway, back to the question, do you think that counted as a WILD? I thought it was supposed to be more of a slow process where you witness the dream beginning fully, the whole process, but I don't remember anything.
