      What should i do here?

I've been practicing WILD for a while, and recently i've been nailing it right (almost).. but i'm failing at a certain point.

So i lay down then start relaxing a bit then use my anchor. My anchor essentially sends me off wandering in random thoughts after a few minutes of doing it. How long i stay in that unconscious wandering state, i don't know. However, after some time passes in that state, i suddenly get hit with awareness.

Right at this point, i stay neutral without doing anything special. No anchors, no imagining, no thinking.
What happens next? i fall asleep almost immediately. What am i supposed to do here? is this a close to a dream or something?

this sudden hit of awareness is actually your prospective memory reminding you "hey bud, get your head back into the game! You are WILDing"

This doesn't have to mean that you're close to the edge, but well since you were kinda unconscious then your PM woke you up again, then you probably would be near the dream. So, i advice you to keep on your anchor and visualization, cuz this is the part you want to be anchoring and helping form the dream via visualizations cuz you would be about to transfer to the dream state at that point.

so try to stay aware and lucid and focused after this 'waking up' , but don't get too excited

I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.

I'll try to anchor then. From some of my near-successful attempts, i waited a bit more at that point before slipping into the transition.
