Do you guys think that getting in to a lucid dream is impossible if you use the "WILD" method when you first go to sleep at night? Because that's the only way that i have felt like i almost got in to a lucid dream.

It's not impossible but it's pretty difficult unless you know what you're doing. Even then, you need a good amount of patience.
I have managed this quite a few times. However the dreams were in all cases a maximum of 20 seconds long and were lucid in a strange 'I know exactly whats going to happen so its not as much fun' way.
It's not impossible, but is very hard (or rather unlikely)... Even during my best period I only had 2-3 successful satisfying wilds like these (during a period of several months).
Feeling like you're almost there, on the other hand, is very likely if you try to WILD without prior sleep - because you have a lot of awareness and not much sleepiness. Nevertheless, even if it feels like you're almost there, it usually just ends at the same stage (or you just fall asleep). It's far less likely to actually be completed successfully, at least in my experience.
