First WILD... I think
When I woke up this morning, I was lying on my side, still tired. I decided to turn and lie on my tummy. I started losing consciousness but very shortly after, I felt a tingling sensation which made me snap back to reality. I realised that this may be an opportunity to have a lucid dream. There was no hypnagogic imagery nor sleep paralysis, which until recently I thought were necessary. Then, out of nowhere, I felt myself get up out of bed. To be honest, I don't recall wanting to get up; it was involuntary.
The moment I got up, I ended up in my living room. Instantly I knew that I was in a dream. The environment was lit with that orange hue that sunsets normally create, and it wasn't very clear. I rubbed my hands together which made it improve in quality just a little. I went to look outside, and I saw what I believed to be was the sun low in a part of the sky where I've never seen it before. The sun itself looked hazy, and I tried to make it clearer by trying to shout "clearer". It didn't work at all. Also, I could barely talk. I could hear myself, but the volume of my voice was extremely low despite the fact that I was shouting.
After that, I did 2 reality checks. First, I closed off the nasal passage using my throat muscles (I didn't remember that I could pinch my nose). This worked a little; I could breathe but felt a little resistance. Then I tried putting a finger through my palm, and it didn't work. Shortly after, I lost lucidity and woke up.
This could be classified as a WILD, right? If yes, how can I build on the technique to get better results? Thanks! :D

It sounds like a WILD too me.
Given you woke up tired, you woke up while your body immediately wanted more sleep. Apparently, the type of sleep your body wanted was REM sleep. It's easiest to have WILDs in this situation.
I'm not sure how to purposely replicate this situation of waking up tired without using alarms. Some use alarms to wake up tired using a technique called CANWILD (Custom Alarm Noise WILD) https://www.dreamviews.com/wake-init...al-%2A%2A.html I personally don't like waking up to alarms but it might be something you could try.
I like the WILD/DEILD technique on obe4u.com. https://obe4u.com/how-to-lucid-dream/ It's simple and fast and uses natural awakenings although it doesn't always work when waking up alert.
Sometimes I can WILD despite waking up alert I just imagine a dream scene or movement continuously while I fall asleep again, although this can require quite a bit self control, especially if I don't fall asleep quickly.
When waking up alert, one possible alternative is to wait until tired and then imagine a dream scene or movement continuously. There's a thread somewhere for this as well but I can't find it at the moment.
Hope this helps!

Congratulation on the WILD, Ocelot512!
I'm going to read that DEILD/WILD tutorial. I've never visited that site before. I know you didn't post it for me, but thanks, Dolphin!
I've been working on waking and naturally between REM cycles. The part I'm having trouble with is remembering not to move. I'm at the stage where I'll even remember right as I'm already starting to roll over.
