Could this be a WILD?
I attempted a wild yesterday and counted to 750 before waking up. But I never moved from my location, and figured I had slightly fallen asleep, only to wake up again to my sleeping position. My eyes were constantly closed, but I felt as though I were awake and failed, so I just tried to drift back to sleep.
Could this have been a WILD? What do you normally feel when you successfully enter the dream world? Could I really have been dreaming and think I was awake? I didn't want to do a physical reality check because I didn't want to have to start the sleep paralysis thing all over again, so I just laid there with my eyes shut.
The more I think about it the more angry I got because I think I might have been lucid and not even have known it!

This is called a false awakening ;P
But if you had succesfully WILD'd, you would probably be able to tell. A WILD with no strange feelings, sounds, or images is pretty rare. There IS a chance you might have been in a WILD, but it's pretty low.
But keep trying!

The one successful WILD I had, my feelings just shifted to that light airiness of the dream world.
If you have not had a DILD, it might be a little hard to know what to look for, but it seems like you have that sensation of the dreaming even if you have your eyes closed.
