      My long road to SP

Hello, everytime when I try to WILD (and thats like every night when I can wake up at 4-5 AM) I have problems with SP. Sometimes I stay still for one hour or even more without anything actually happening but sometimes I get that unconfortable feeling and I do ignore it but, strangly instead of getting into SP it doesn't happens anything. And after a while I get again that feeling and again it doesn't happens anything. Until I either don't feel like sleeping anymore, either I abandon it because I spend to much time.
I am absolutly sure that I don't move any muscle, not even my eyes. Its very frustrating for me because I can't even get into a partial SP or anything. Any tips / help or something?

I think you're paying too much attention to what you're doing. Try to think about something else, count, daydream, just don't pay attention to your body, or to what you're doing... and don't fall asleep

I have the same problem whenever I try to WILD. I found that visualizing a scene (like riding a bike) helps me. I remember the first time I felt SP was a fluke. I was trying to WILD and kind of dozed off and then the sound of a train woke me up and I just happened to be in SP and feeling the vibrations. The trick is too not focus on your body. A bunch of other people suggest listening to the ringing sound in your ears, while others suggest counting (I never could use the counting method - I'd just fall asleep). If that doesn't work then maybe try using some binural beats or visualizations to take your mind off of your body.

Ok I'll try not to focus on me and my action while I'm trying to WILD next time.

PS: I wonder if its easier to get in a WILD if you haven't sleept for like 50 hours or so...I guess I'm gonna find out soon...cos I really need to get some sleep .

Yes, it's easier. If you're sleep deprived SP will come faster and you will have a REM Rebound (most likely).
