Choosing your own WILD dreamscape?

Hi,

I've recently been practising the WILD technique, and managed to have the most vivid, seemingly real dream ever in my life.

But I've now hit a wall. I am under the impression that the best way to induce WILDs is to passively view the imagery that flows over your mind's eye and enter the dream that way.

My question is: Is it possible to control the dream scene before it forms and before you enter it?

Last night I seemed to come very close to entering the image that I had deliberately envisioned while in the hypnagogic state. I was focusing on a deserted beach with blue sky, and a particular woman wearing red lingerie walking towards me on the sand. I reached a point where my body was paralyzed, and my bed felt like a pool I was sinking in. I managed to hold on to the beach scene in my head, and then I felt the image become more and more vivid in front of me. Unfortunately, it didn't quite reach that 'clicking point' where you enter the dream fully, and I lost the state I was in.

So is it possible for me to enter this desired dreamscape of mine, or am I better off just entering whatever dreamscape the hypnagogic imagery decides for me?

And for that matter, is it possible to transform the dreamscape of your WILD whilst in the dream to anything of your choosing, by say, dream-spinning?

Yes yes and yes. Look at this WILD Tutorial and scroll down to Visualization WILD

There are a number of ways and tricks that you can use to change the dream scenery.

The first trick you should use try is walking through a door. If your dream scene is your room/house which Im assuming it is, then walk up to a door, and visualize your dream scene very vividly before walking through it. If you visualized your scene well enough, then you will see it on the other side of the door.

A second technique you can try (that I dont advise) is spinning while visualizing your scene. I dont recommend this one because I think that the spinning can get out of control sometimes and possibly wake one up. Basically you will be teleporting in this technique which is not easy for beginners. You can try it if you want to but I never like to risk losing any lucid dreams I have.
