New Strategy
Alright. So it seems that every time I try to WILD, I always fall asleep when I turn my alarms off. But then, later in the morning, I wake up at the same time each day.
Ex. I set my alarm for 4 30am, wake up at that time, then fall asleep. Then I wake up, without assistance at 5 30ish. Then if I fall asleep again, I will wake up around 6-6 30 ish.
So, could this possibly be me waking up in between REM cycles?
If it is, I have a new strategy. What I will do is wake up with my alarm, and go to sleep right away, and then try to WILD the next time I wake up. Does it seem like a good idea?

Yes, since you are waking around every hour I would say it does sound like you're waking between sleep cycles. This is exactly what I do naturally.
I think you should go for this plan--this is exactly how I WILD, I wake up naturally, go back to sleep and it's easy to slip right back into the dream state. :D

Perfect! That was exactly what I was hoping to get. I hope I can use this to my advantage now, to get my first lucid!

Yep, just keep at it. If you can stick to your plan, you will definitely get that lucid sooner or later! :D
