Another weak first WILD
BUT IT WAS AWESOME ANYWAYS!!
15/10/09
I had a huge exam on the 13th and had nothing in my head except that for the prior 10 days. The 14th I tried a WILD but it didn’t work. The 15th I went to sleep at 2:00 AM because I always want to try a WBTB/WILD 6 hours after I go to sleep but I have a loud alarm (I’m a heavy sleeper) and don’t want to wake my whole family up. Anyways, I wake at 8 o’clock in the morning with the alarm. I can’t remember any of the night’s dreams. There are some sounds from my sister and my mother who are getting ready to leave for the day. I thought the sounds would either bother me or help me. I decided I’ll try anyways. Change is good for the brain. I lay on my right side (the side I usually sleep on). I remember that I didn’t reprogram the alarm. I set it at 10:00 AM. I lay back down. I start the usual meditation (I am dreaming, I will remember my dreams, I am dreaming, etc.) but I am not that concentrated. I realize it but think it’s better that way because too much is like not enough. A few minutes later I move accidentally and take the opportunity to lay on my back. [http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...d.php?t=82529] Same story when laying on my back. Meditation, no concentration and accidental movement. I now lay on my left side, having the digital alarm clock right if from of my eyes (which are shut). I am not sure but I think I accidentally (I pretty much sucked at concentration that night…) opened my eyes and I saw nothing on my clock. I take 1 second to blink to verify and still nothing. I understand I am maybe dreaming.
I stand up really quickly and realize that I’ve done a mistake because for 2-3 seconds I lose all my senses (except touch and I feel I am standing). I take a couple of steps to stand facing my bed. I didn’t even look at myself sleeping in the bed which would have been the ultimate RC (dumb move on my part). I rub my hands together a bit. I am very insecure in doing something foolish in real life so I wanted to be 100% sure that I am dreaming. I remember reading about the pinch the nose RC. I tried it out but wasn’t sure if it worked right (because I am so excited). I tried the finger that goes through the hand. Still not convinced, I retry the pinch the nose. I don’t even pay attention to it since my mind is racing like hell. Thank god though, I am a very cool person :P and have the ability to somewhat control the rate of my heart. Still not sure if I was dreaming, I decide to jump and maybe feel that hover for a fraction of a second. I decide I want to get out of my bedroom but as I turn the knob, I wake back in my bed.
It’s 8:35 AM. I didn’t even write that dream right away because I knew that there could be no way to forget that. And right I was. Unbelievable. Finally. There begins my other life.

Brilliant! What a cool way to start lucid dreaming! I believe the re-position method is part of Yoshi's tutorial.

Hmm, I really want to experience the same thing now. I have had many lucid dreams over the years, but I am only just starting to understand them and find out more about what you can do with them and how you can enter them. I am trying to accomplish WILD too and if I had a similar experience I would be really pleased! :)

Well all you got to do is try. Try every time you want. And really believe in everything you do to try and accomplish the WILD (RC, mantras, etc.)
