Was this a failed WILD attempt?

well I tried to do claritys method WILD I woke up at 4:30 got into a different bed and started concentrating did the 1 Im dreaming 2 im dreaming method, after 5 minutes my eyes started moving very fast and uncontrollably and I sorta started hearing static like the tv "snow screen" static I got really scared and got up? soo my question is was I anywhere close in the ball park or am I just imagining this?
im good at recalling dreams I usually recall two dreams a night I also have precognative dreams alot does anyone know anything about precognative dreams and how to better recall them and maybe even control them?

Oh you were so close. Too bac you were scared out of it.

I came real close too a couple of times. One time I heard unbelievably loud nouses, like metal chains rattling against the metal hull of a ship, mechanic, industrial loud nouses.

Another time I suddenly saw the brightes white light behind my closed eyelids. It was so incredibly bright. I willed myself forward, into the centre of the lightglow. But when I did it felt like being picked up and hurled around by a real heavy tornado. It scared the life out of me and I willed myself backwards, back out of the light in the dark stillness.
I tried it 4 more times, each time being scared and going back. Eventually I fell asleep unconsciously. Too bad.

I've only gotten a small few but what helped me was when noises/vibrations begin just let it wash over you. Feel as is if at that point it's out of your control completely. Imagine some other force (nothing malicious) is trying to bring you somewhere for your own benefit.

When I do this it washes over me. Also, for me personally at that point I can, at will, begin to roll in every direction. It then gets faster and faster until there is no up and down and I appear in my new dream scene.
