My Two Problems...
Hey, basically, every time i try to WILD i have two things that hold me back:
1. I do not know where to look when my eyes are closed. Do i look in the distance, do i look up, down - where!? If i look up, my eyes end up opening but if i look forward and into the foreground, i dont get visualistaions! How do you rest your eyes?
2. If i think about sitting still, i cannot. This happens when i am awake. When i try to sit perfectly still, i start thinking about something specific like how uncomfortable my leg feels. The lack of movement is unbearable! Like when you have really tight shoes and you cannot wriggle your toes? Like that, but worse! It is ok if i dont think about it, but when i get the onslaught of tingling sensations im like "Gargh! i must move my leg! Do not think about it!" Then i try so hard not to think about moving, it overtakes my concentration and i just emerge to full conscientiousness! Does anyone else get this feeling?
Thanks for your help!

1. Don't look at anything. Look passively ahead of you. If you see some visualization, don't follow it with your eyes, just let it pass. Act like it's on a TV screen, you're only looking where the screen is, no where else. Try to relax your eyes and just go with the flow of the HI.
2. I find it's best to visualize something. My favorite is to visualize yourself walking up a continual set of stairs. Focusing on this visualization will keep your mind off your body and eventually put you into a trance.

I find that my eyes wander and I do accidently follow HI, but I don't think about it so I'm usually fine. Just don't focus on them
As for movement, have you tried mantras or counting breaths? I say them with my breathing so it's calming to me
