Did I really get into an SP?

This is my first time following a method to have a Lucid Dream...

1 : I stretched, went to lay in bed in my usual sleeping position. I tensed every muscle in my body from my legs to my head, then relaxed them.
2 : I repeated "When I dream, I will become lucid" in between breaths.
3 : I felt as if my body started to tingle and become a bit numb, felt really cool actually
4 : It then felt like I was thrown in a washing machine and everything was spinning, then it felt like if I was floating in water. This was by far the coolest, i was thinking "Whoa is this sleep paralysis?!?"

... Theeen... my bladder decided it was a good time to empty the 2 glasses of water I drank before going to sleep. Then I fell asleep.

It's weird that today I didn't recall any dreams, AT ALL!

I tried doing the 3-sec alarm clock in the middle of the night thing (here http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=87710), but I failed, the alarm woke me up but instead of laying still and not opening my eyes, I reacted violently and sat up :(

SO, what is it I'm supposed to feel/do after I feel the floating-in-water feeling?

From what I understand, the float-y feeling is probably just a test. Once you start feeling more intense things, try imagining yourself flying out of your bed, or rolling off your bed and then standing up. I did this last night and it worked, even though I felt like I was flying one-way through a vortex. Or, if you're far enough into the transition stage, even imagine someone coming along and helping you up by pulling your arm. This could manifest itself and pull you into a dream, if I'm correct.

That is always my problem. I enter (what I think is SP) after awhile of relaxing and breathing, but for whatever reason, I never have anything happen after I stop feeling the effects.

I have tried visualizing objects and dream scenes, but have never had anything some from it.

I have been attempting to while for many months now, but have never had success. I use DILD to keep me motivated, however.

I entered SP for the first time in like 2 weeks. To me it feels awesome. If you take a lighter and press down the button without striking, the sound it makes it identical to what i hear in my ears, like put the lighter close to your ear and press the gas down, you get that POOF sound. Felt like a jet hitting afterburners LOL.

Yes, I have had that too. Except, I would describe it as strong wind being forced through a small opening. Like when the window is down just alittle bit while you are driving fast.

The sound always drowns out my heart beat and breathing, but for some reason, I think I can hear my eyes moving when I am in this period.
