What you describe is essentially a VILD derivative where you use the auditory sense alone in the hopes that what you imagine becomes what you hallucinate (i.e. a dream.) I've tossed this one around myself but never really got the chance to try it. |

Well, my plan wasn't exactly to induce a VILD, rather to just make someone divert attention to let them ignore their urges to move. Still, that thought seems plausible, too. |
