WILD Nap Question?

If I wake up at 7:00am and come home from school at 4:30ish would trying a WILD get me anywhere or would I just be wasting my time? I've read that a nap WILD should be done somewhere around 5 hours after waking up then I read somewhere else that anywhere during 9 hours after waking up.. so any help would be really appreciated. Thank :)

I'm not a professional in napping, but I am not sure what you mean. Did you mean, If I wake up at 7:00am and come home from school at 4:30ish , then I have a napwould trying a WILD get me anywhere or would I just be wasting my time?

If that is the case, then no. It is just a bad idea to nap too close to the time when you fall asleep because you will stay awake longer, and it will be hard to fall asleep.

If that isn't the case, then yes, you would be wasting your time. You would need to initiate a REM period first.
