Is WILDING even for me?
Hi I have up on lucid dreaming because some problems. Now I want to start again but even when i was trying I never could go into SP. I lay down and get some odd feelings sometimes in my hands and sometimes in toes. Is this the beginning steps of SP? My friend got into SP his first try (by luck) he was never able to do it again because those lucidolgy 101 videos. I was wondering if i can do it just when i goto bed?

You really should try to get into SP using WBTB or day time naps. Trying to enter SP upon initial sleep is unnecessarily difficult. SP tends to be different and unique for everyone, though many common things take place. Generally, some numbing feeling in your body happens, though this could also be because you are lying still for an extended period of time. I suggest getting 4+ hours of sleep, waking up for 10-20 minutes, then attempting SP. You can also try to take a nap mid day. These are generally the ideal times for WILDing. WILDing is one of those techniques that becomes easier with experience, due to the fact that it can be a different experience for everyone. Just keep practicing and I'm sure you will be able to find a way to perform WILDs. If you have any specific questions, or hit any road blocks, don't hesitate to ask for some advice. Good Luck to you!

Okay
I will try the nap thing first (to prevent sleep loss) then if that fails then move into WBTB

I personally like napping the best. If you are a heavy sleeper like me and can fall asleep fast anywhere and at any time, it can be a pain in the ass to WILD with WBTB. Most of the time I'm too tired to even think about WBTB. If you are more of a light sleeper and it usually takes you longer to fall asleep, I think WBTB would be better. You won't accidently fall asleep normally because you are too tired to carry out the process. Plus, it will probably take you a lot longer time to fall asleep or stay asleep with the daily noise.
