I think I've found my biggest enemy while wilding... falling asleep. I've had sleep paralysis, I've had Hypnotic Imagary (Only vivid once), but most of the time, I can't get this far because I fall asleep. Any strategies for *not* falling asleep?

You could change the amount of sleep you get before you initially wake up, or you could change the length of time you stay up when you WBTB.
How long do you sleep before you wake up, and how long do you stay up before getting back to sleep?
Try sleeping for less time, say 4 to 4 1/2 hours and see what happens.
Edit: Try staying up for at least five minutes going back to bed.
Try staying up a while to get your mind a little more awake. It sounds like you aren't really waking up fully by just rolling over. Personally, during WBTB I like to sit in meditation for a while, say 20 -30 minutes, then go back to bed.
BTW, thanks, you reminded me I should do a WBTB session tonight since I have a late start tomorrow.
