Inner Dialogue
So I've always had problems falling asleep, because I can't turn my thoughts off; my inner dialogue. I've attempted to WILD twice now, and I've achieved (and I don't know if this is a normally experienced stage) the state where you lose all connection with the physical body; it came a bit after I reached SP. But my inner dialogue kicked in due to sheer fascination and I lost all progress :P
So I was thinking, if I can't obliterate my inner dialogue; I'll use it to my advantage! Because WILDing is so similar to meditation I was thinking about using the common meditation practice of repeating "OM."
Of all the experienced WILDers, have any of you tried this? Or would this be a recommend method? For somebody who has a bit of a case of ADD haha

I too have a similar problem. Often i have a song playing in my head which i can't seem to turn off. I imagine turning down the volume or something but it just pops back in my mind! Trippy!
Peace

I have this problem aswell , but either you imagine scene, like you lying on a beach with your eyes are closed and nothing is happening. Don't try and put too much detail into it or else it will just distract you instead. The other way is to focus on the shapes that you see when you close your eyes, and try to control them by first imagining simple shapes or colours... I find this works pretty well, however when I actually start to WILD I usually start thinking 'wow this is awesome' etc and end up pulling myself out of it. But yeah it is definately easier if you have just woken up from a dream.

Yeah the WBTB tech. is a good one (less of an induction method and more of a tool though :P)
I'm going to try the WILD tech. without saying OM and once I get better at WILD I'll see if repeating OM works. So if there is an experienced WILDer who wants to try this, and let me know how well it works that would be great. Because before I can, I think it would be better to just WILD; you know, go with what you know works haha.
Thanks
