i was visited by an old friend last night
Been a while since I've done this. Anyway, in a previous advanced TOTM, you had to write something on a piece of paper in real life, then put it someplace irl and try to find it in and LD and see how close (or far) it was from the original. My paper was in the exact spot in the LD, where I put it in real life. However, there was a slight discrepancy between the two, as I have illustrated here:

Son: "Dad, what is the daddy cow doing to mommy cow?"
Dad: "Ermm... look the 'udder' way son!"
Holy shit! That's funny!
Slightly disturbing, and a pun, but still funny right?
So I'd made up a little 'game' to do, while lucid:
I pick up a deck of cards, thinking of them as 'Magic: the Gathering' type cards that have characters/inventory/scenery on them. Then, I draw 2-3 cards at random, look at them and take note of whatever appears on them. Then I use those cards for artistic inspiration in waking life.
My first time trying this (after having a little trouble getting the cards to appear properly), I drew a card with a wizard looking character standing on a wooden deck, with his hands out and casting some brightly lit spell. Then, on one of my other cards, I got a picture of the sea with overcast skies and storm whipping up the waves. I'd drawn another card, which I remembered having something to do with a leviathan-ish creature, but not much more than just a simple idea of it.
Upon waking, and after putting all of those ideas together, I began working on this pic:

Damn Greg, that's gorgeous.
Thank you, Ophie. :content: <3
Heh heh... ok, quick sketch I did in chemistry of some HI I get all the time. It's really small and messy, so let me describe it and maybe you can make it out :P

That's two pictures of the same area. The one on the left is a hill bordered by two small dirt cliffs (like stairs), a little river running at the bottom. Lots of trees and leaves all over the ground. The right is from the area right of the bottom cliff from the other pic. River along bottom with rocks making a bridge thing. More trees and leaves everywhere.
So I guess since I had to describe it so much it was a really sucky picture, but yeah. There ya go. :) Drawing isn't my forte.
^ i like that its hand drawn. good try

I lived inside the Earth, or maybe I lived in a miniature version of Earth, inside the Earth. It was a strange feeling and I didn't much care for it, I actually felt a bit weird when I woke up.
There was just something off about the sky, almost like an inverted Earth on top the one I was living in, it reminded me of those plastic bags with a single gold fish you win at a carnival.
Well this is really old, but it's one of the only things I thought was worth drawing from a dream, it was never completed since I thought it didn't do the monster in the dream any justice.
Btw the one in the dream was basically a bear looking creature that was all black and hairy, but had a face that had a flat part with spikes all over it (No idea how it eats) and the eyes were slightly on the sides of the face as well as on the front, and there was quite a bit of them.
Now for the picture I made of it =)

This was a really cool piece that I did, based around myself and my three persistent dream characters. I don't know exactly what to call this drawing style, cause it's obviously anime inspired, but doesn't look 100% like anime. This is also not 100% purely my dreams, I made some stylistic changes. (Noted) It's too bad I actually am not as good of an artist as I would like to be.
My friend S looked at this picture and told me that my dreams make the best anime ever.
From Right-Left, these people are:
Marcus: A persistent dream character that I first got to know in my AI theft dream (One of my mot memorable dreams, link HERE). After meeting him there, I had several dreams (lucid and non) where he continued to invent and demonstrate new technologies with varying levels of success.
In his right hand is the Terminal Detonator. He gave me the weapon for Christmas. It malfunctioned and failed to detonate. In his left hand is the shrink ray he developed, that unfortunately only causes things to shrink for a limited time before they return to his normal size.
Also, odd thing about his character, when I met him, he seemed much older, like 40-50ish, but as I got to know him and acknowledged that he was a persistent dream character, he became more youthful while retaining the same personality.
Stylistic Changes: Sunglasses rather than regular glasses for added epicness.
[Self]: In my (lucid) dreams, I always have a long black cloak that seems to obscure my features. I was able to look at myself in third person several times from different angles, but never made out my face. My friend Chelsea (another lucid dreamer) once stated that she initiated a shared dreaming experience with me, and got a better look at my character. And that is where the glowing white eyes and spear (Stylistic changes).
After I drew the design myself I realized that it actually looked cool in its own weird way, and decided to add it to the picture.
Lia: My dream guide, and the running longest persistent dream character I've had, literally going back to the first dream that I ever remember having. After I started practicing lucid dreaming, she introduced herself as my dream guide and began teaching me things. Sure what she says might not make sense 90% of the time, but it's not like much of anything that happens in my dreams make sense anyway.
Stylistic changes: Cape, Shorter hair that was easier to draw and looked cooler.
Jack: The least frequently seen DC. Only surfaced in recent years, and actually acted as my dream guide once. I don't really know what he does in my dreams. The swords were not a stylistic change, He carries them around in about 80% of the dreams where I see him. For a short time, I actually referenced him as "swords guy" before actually assigning him a name.
Stylistic changes: Eyepatch.
Though this picture lacks a ton of things that I would have liked to add. I would like to draw separate badges for each dream character (in their environment, rather than generic epic lightning background.) I had a lot of fun with Marcus' weapons and would like to do more of the sci-fi designs in my dreams. I also would like to draw the evil dream character that I have encountered as well. And finally, the Electric Floating Baby Head is probably worthy of its own piece.
Haha! Y'all look like the Teen Titans :P
I loved that show as a kid. They made a new show for TT, but it's total garbage.

This started out as a signature but ended up as this. I tried to incorporate as many of my dream signs as possible. [Alien Attacks, Planets in the sky, Swords, Roller Coasters] It just looks like random chaos in the background, but that's about what I was going for.
*the first time I uploaded this, there was a line out of place. I think I fixed it. It won't let me delete the attachment of the old file. But the good one is front in center.
That is a great idea - sitting down and collecting dream-signs together and draw them - could imagine this doing some good for their future detection.
I really like it!
You can get rid of attachments with going advanced for editing - quite down the page is manage attachments - there you can delete it!
Thanks
That is really badass JadeGreen, I have the planet one too sometimes. Usually it's a Saturn-like planet with rings, and a Jupiter-like planet with a giant red spot. And they're way too big in the sky, like closer than the moon. And in the daytime, which is cool, because they appear partially translucent, the way the moon sometimes does in the daytime.
Neato-mosquito, I wish I could draw well so I could make one. It would have tornadoes for sure.
I saw this sight last night. Looking out from the balcony, there were two giant red pillars between two stormy layers of clouds. The pillars themselves seemed to be made of cloud and were as massive as an f5 tornado. But unlike a tornado they were stationary and glowed like magma. It terrified me! Between the two pillars was a red glow that was growing and growing. It was an alien spacecraft descending to the earth. Well spacecraft is the wrong that, that thing itself was a monster with a crab like appendages! I ran. We ran. My whole family ran and we didn't stop.

Giant Flower Trees At Nighttime.
This dream occured years ago, and i recreated it using my own images in photoshop.
Basically i dream of being in a garden at night, the trees are actually really tall flowers which smell very sweet, the lake nearby reflects the moon on its surface as mist lingers everywhere, all i do is touch the flower trees to find their soaking wet and sometimes sticky.

Here's a sketch of a faerie from a dream I had a while ago. I was the purple faerie  (not to be confused with 'fairy'- the obnoxious 8 year old girl's fantasy)
I had a dream the other night (entitled: 'The True Meaning of Phallic Objects' - posted on my Blogger Blog, Viva La Ghash! Please Google it as I am unable to post a link just yet). I tried to illustrate the dream, and this was the best I could come up with (using Paint) and a photograph of a pink blancmange:
