Screaming Inside
Tears fall down my face
as I lie here on my bed
Wishing I were in another place
almost wishing I were dead
No one bothers to look deep enough
to see the hurt within
Everyday seems to be so rough
my life is an undeniable sin
Acceptance is what I long for
but that is merely a dream
This pain comes from within my core
and I'm not who I seem
I try to hide who I am inside
I can't let my guard down
And no matter how I'd tried and tried
I cannot ever change this frown
Open your eyes and look at me
listen to my cries
I need your help - can't you see?
it's written in my eyes

Nice, although I'm getting a bit tired of reading depressing poetry ;)

Scribler said "no one likes a morbid bastard"
But it was good.
