I tried posting some of my Photography pictures but it was a no go, the file sizes were too big.

I just started photography myself, so I can't wait to post some pics :)
Those are some great shots, Hawk!
Thanks Cloud! I have all of my Photography pictures on my Facebook, but nobody ever comments on them.
It's nice to have shared a few with the people here on DV.
The thing about Photography, in some cases you want to look for the "lines" in the picture you're taking, most pictures with have lines to them, and that makes them pleasing to the eye.
I never took a class for it, I figured it was as easy as pointing and shooting, guess you also need a creative mind. :P
I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures, if I don't give them a like or reply with a quote, send me a message and let me know you put them up.

Curvature of the Earth by cobaltninja07, on Flickr
I'm posting this one because while I'm not sure if I intended to or not at the time, I managed to photograph the moon while keeping the horizon in the shot.
Very nice my friend, may I ask what the hell you were doing SO HIGH UP?
I don't even see rails...
Except for on the side there..

Still practicing when I have spare time :P which is never. One of the reasons for my absence, just way too busy. Keep it up everyone!
Great photos everyone! I'll post some now! And Nitefall, I went to Pikes Peak last summer. It was quite an experience being at that altitude. Especially since I live about 50 feet above sea level!

Did you realize in the last picture that you can faintly see what looks like a telescope on some tall grass?
Along with something else I can't quite make out.
If you can't see it I can snapshot the page and try outlining the area it is in.
Oh, now I can see, it is a bush of some sort.
Yes, two of the three photos I've posted here were taken at the top of Pikes Peak.
My family and I succeeded in driving up there on our second try during a week-long trip to Colorado. We didn't make it up there the first time three days earlier due to bad weather further up the mountain.
I was experimenting with water drops one day too! None turned out all that great though.
Here's some more zoo ones

Took this the other day.
