Uhm guys, don't mean to hate on you, but this was meant to be a thread where you post your best pictures, not all the contents of your entire 8GB chip. If you want to photodump, put it in links in a spoiler or make another thread for it

Seeing at this is a "Photography" thread... let's not just focus on photos... lets talk first cameras!

My first 'real' camera was a nice 3 megapixel Fujifilm, with 3x optical zoom. It took real good pictures, but it got stolen... I bought another one, though I can't remember the name, but it was 3.2mp I think and the great part was it had 10x optical zoom, and it just took really good pictures overall. I ended up giving that to my brother...

I haven't own any cameras since... and that was back when 3 megapixels was top notch. The one 3.2mp with 10x zoom was about 500 dollars when I got it. Now you can get 14megapixels 10x zoom for only a few hundred bucks....

Just takes up too much room. If everybody did that it'd probably overload the board. Also, if you have a weaker internet connection it could cause huge slowdown.... and not everybody wants to look at all the pictures... maybe they jsut wanna read the posts.

Anyways it's just more considerate... if you wanna look at the pics so bad then just take the extra second to click a few buttons

Wow. Some lovely photographs in this thread. Such a joy to look at.

My photos don't really measure up, but any photography thread is really hard for me to resist. I've likely posted my favorites somewhere on here before, so feel free to skip over them if you wish.

I have a tendancy to rely on subject matter, because I don't have the best camera or many skillz. But they make me smile, anyway.

There's others out there who haven't posted yet...let's see more. :bravo:

^ Used to cross these everyday on my way to and from work. They always gave me a creepy feeling, so I thought Negative was appropriate. All of these were in a moving car, btw.

^ I think I might've been so focused on the picture that I was in the middle of the road, lol. Or maybe I did it on purpose... hmm.

Mt. Baker in Washington State as viewed from the access trail to Table Mountain. Shot with a Sony DSC-S650 point-n-shoot on auto-pilot.

Another shot of Mt. Baker from aside the access roads South of Artist's Ridge. Sony A-350, 28mm, iso100, 1/250sec.

I really like taking photos of animals.
I think I got some pretty good ones at the Singapore Zoo.

Nice shot!!! Did you do a long exposure, lightning trigger, or just luck?

15 second exposure, F/11 and 100 ISO. I messed up an earlier shot because I underestimated just how bright the bolt is and it completely overexposed.

There's some great stuff in this thread. I never knew so many DVer's were into photography. I've been messing around with it as a hobby lately. I use my dad's Sony DSC-H50, it's a decent DSLR. I'm kinda short on time now, but I'll post some of my photos tomorrow morning.

I was at Lake Garda two weeks ago, and I liked how two of my photos turned out, so I thought I'd post them here. Now I'm not a photographer, I just point and click. But I hope you'll bear with me.

They are composites of respectively three and two shots, but other than that I've done no editing (though they could benefit from it). They're taken from a mountain above Malcesine.
