What do you know about bottling water?
Being jobless since march, and having no luck finding another job yet, I'm flat broke. I have about $12 to my name. 5 years ago, we got tired of our well running dry in the summer so we had it dug a few thousand feet deeper. They hit an underground reservoir and our well has literally been overflowing with water ever since. They had to install some overflow mechanism to the top of it. I'd say 5 years of constant overflowing water means we tapped into something big.
I had the idea to start bottling and selling water from our well, but I have no idea how the bottling process works. I do know that our water has been tested after they drilled it deeper, and it's the cleanest they've seen. The well-drilling-guys were even drinking it as it overflowed.
Do you just get empty bottles, and caps with the safety thing still attached and screw it on? If so, I'd rather not have to bottle each one by hand.
I also haven't thought much about what to name the bottling company. A name that has been floating around is: Draper's Drip - "dripping to a store near you." So any suggestions on names are welcome, as well as bottling advice.
