I just hosted an exchange student for 2 1/2 weeks and it was a great experience. Her name was Stefanie and she was from Germany. I know you all have a burning desire to ask questions about foreign exchange students, so ask away.

Was she hot?
Judging by what people have told me, yes, she was hot.
:lmao:
Sorry, couldn't resist. On a more serious note: did you find yourself learning more things about this person and her culture than you thought? Or was it an experience you anticipated.
I learned more than I thought I would, but for the most part she was just like any normal teenage girl.
Normal? There's normal teenage girls? :?Quote:

That has always been fun. Do any of you know couchsurfing?
It was through school and I am going to Germany at the end of this year or beginning of next and I am most likely staying with her family. Also, during the summer I might be going to stay with her for a week or two.
I have heard of couchsurfing and I would love to try it when I am older, I would just be a little worried about if I was staying with some crazy serial killer.
I miss the Spanish exchange students from highschool...So god damn hot...
Don't go to France...Remember what happened in the Simpsons?
Did not see that episode, but I have heard the French are not very friendly..
It's an older episode
what kind of household enviroment must one have to host a foreign exchange student?
When I volunteered it was through a school program and so they didn't ask many questions and there were no requirements, just as long as they had a place to sleep.
I'm sure if you signed up through a bigger organization they would have to do a big evaluation.
