I'm new to the lucid dream community, but ever since I saw Inception I've been hooked on creating dream worlds etc. So last week I researched dream interpretations, and I thought that was all you could do with dreams... thank god I was wrong, and I stumbled upon a site that dealt with becoming conscious while dreaming I tried to register for that site but it was kinda cheap, and it didn't work out, so now I'm here.
Now I have a dream journal with one dream that I had, it was a short dream and since I was drinking the dream dealt with me buying a lot of liquor. But anyway, ever since that dream a week ago I've tried to have lucid dreams, and I haven't had not one dream except a silly dream last night that was based on watching Family Guy. (which I was doing before I went to sleep) I've just started doing RC's very often. (as suggested for beginners) I've even said mantras (in my head) a couple times before falling asleep.
I really want to have a DILD first, because I want to experience a lucid dream. But eventually I want to be able to go to sleep and not have a random DILD, but a planned one. (sorta like Inception, if at all possible)
But right now I just need pointers on how to force myself to become aware during my dreams for a DILD. I tried a WILD last night but I couldn't fall asleep fast enough :(
I'm very dedicated to having a LD. I even pretended I had a LD while trying to fall asleep, and it felt very real. But any tips, or help would be nice. Thanks!
