The Cycle Adjustment Technique starts tomorrow. (with one modification: waking 80 minutes early, not 90)


Part 1

Mon-Sun WAKE 6 AM / BED TIME 9 30 PM

Part 2

(BED TIME 9 30 PM)

Mon- Wake 6 am (AWT) 8hr 30min SLEEP

Tues-Wake 7 20 am (WT) 9hr 50min SLEEP

Wed- Wake 6 am (AWT) 8hr 30min SLEEP

Thurs- Wake 7 20 am (WT) 9hr 50min SLEEP

Friday- Wake 6 am (AWT) 8hr 30min SLEEP

Saturday- Wake 7 20 am (WT) 9hr 50min SLEEP

Sunday- Wake 6 am (AWT) 8hr 30min SLEEP

anyone willing to try CAT these next few weeks? Its not the most talked about induction technique, and i'd like to compare thoughts with others who have tried / or are going to try now!

I'll post my results in 2-4 weeks.

I'd try but I would to adjust my sleeping schedule because I usually go to bed at like 11 or midnight. So it might take me a while to get use to falling asleep at 9 30.

Yeah, just work with 11 as a bed time? and whatever wake time/altered awake time works with your schedule/amount of sleep.

(you probably know this, but ) you dont have to follow my exact schedule just need a specific bed time, wake time, and altered wake time. making sure your altered wake time is 80 (or 90) minutes early compared to your regular wake time.

Oops. When I made the above posts, I forgot that my late-running class on Wednesday night would mess this up. Sorry. My plan now is to go to bed at 9:30 and wake up at 6 for the next 6 nights, starting tonight, then go to class next Wednesday, then start Part 2 of this next Thursday.

I'm so excited. Part 2 goes into play tomorrow morning.

And if your willing to try it, try it. Post your results when you've gone through part 2 one or two times. If my schedule works for you, go ahead and follow it. Keep in mind i modified it so its an 80 min period (6 am-720am), and not 90 mins. (what the tutorial calls for) But it won't make much difference, just a tad more sleep.

AWT= Altered Wake Time
WT= Wake Time
BT= Bed Time
