I don't want to argue either. Your right that's all that really matters.
Holy crap, I don't know if you guys would like this song, I do, I think it's awesome.http://casale.net.nz/mp3/Casale%20-%...20-%20256k.mp3 Well this song was made in a LUCID DREAM. The guy who made it tried to remember as much as he could from it and then remake it. He says it was actually way longer than what he could remember.
I have seen a lot people like you around me. I feel sorry for you and I don't want to argue with you. Let's just say that parking spot is just plain example. You can do soooo much more. Only with your mind. let's take an example from real life, from my own experience.
I have always wanted to play electric guitar, but It's so hard to find one, where i live. There are no music shops. It's small town in Lithuania and out of 20 000 people who live in this town half have never heard electric guitar live. Getting electric guitar is expensive, because you have to go to a bigger town. And I am not even talking about how hard is to get AMP and all the wires, effects, etc. I wrote down that I wish to get electric guitar which will cost nothing to me. I read a lot literature about LOA (Law of attraction, minds power), visualized myself playing my new guitar and had no doubt I am getting one. Month later I made super nice deal in which I got very good guitar from my friend. Few months later I got another guitar. Very expensive one and I got it for free. Than I needed amp. I did the same thing as I did with guitar. ONE DAY later I was walking down the street where I met my old friend and he asked me if I needed good new AMP. His guitar broke and he doesn't know what to do with it. Now I needed effects. Similar thing happened. I have it now. I am not very rich, but I have equipment which would let me play live on the stage and it costed me almost nothing.
This is just a simple example of how I get all my material things. And I am not talking about people I attract. Parking spot is too simple. Einstein, Beethoven and all the other famous people have written a lot of quotes about human's mind power. .
I live depending only on one quote. Our thoughts always materializes. And there are too many examples in my few years of practising to deny that.
I wish I would. I still have mental blocks for lucid dreaming. It's like something in my mind saying it's too hard for you. Meditating will help me ;D
Those pesky mental blocks are a bother aren't they? I agree that meditation works wonders for releasing mental blocks from your mind. I came up with a method to use when meditating to remove mental blocks faster (a couple of years and plenty of misinformation was a hard pile to remove from my mind :cheeky:). I also use this method to further reinforce my ideas (for example to have lucid dreams every night).
First you start meditating as usual and when you feel completely relaxed you could try my method out:
How it works is that you more or less have an inner dialog with yourself. Well not just that because you also need to separate the "person" you talk to inside your mind from yourself. You could think that the other person you talk to is an expert lucid dreamer, your dream-guide (if you have one) or some other figure you trust.
You could then use your conversational partner to remove your mental blocks easier than if you did it for yourself. Many things you tell yourself when you meditate might not feel real, even if you speak them with complete sincerity to your mind. So to have another being validate everything you say, even if that other being is yourself still makes it easier to believe in your ideas than if you were on your own. There is a certain sense of security and comfort to have another being validating and accepting everything you say.
This sounds really strange at first sight, to have a conversation with oneself. But for me this really worked wonders and all of my mental blocks went away one after one (believe me when I say that I had A LOT of mental blocks).
I would recommend using this if you feel some kind of disbelief when you meditate, that there is some deep part of yourself that doesn't accept what you're trying to make it accept. Of course if you have no such disbelief at all this method doesn't do much.
i'll try it tonight, and by that i mean i wont try at all... lol
Thanks. I meditate every day, so I will try this today. It sounds promising. I will ask my "Lucid Dreaming" is hard guy to leave.
Hehe. It's just for fun.Quote:
So that ∞ in your LD count does NOT signify that you have had lots and lots of Lucid dreams? Did you put it there because of the law of attraction (by which I mean that you are trying to affirm that you have lots of LDs so that you eventually will?)?
Ok I know this doesn't make sense but I can't keep this for me :D Last night I tried having a lucid dream but a thought was interfering with my will to have it. When I woke up this morning I couldn't recall anything, I tried WBTB but I have been in bed for more than an hour trying to fall asleep with no success. The same thought was coming into my mind. I felt like seeing a girl that doesn't want to talk to me anymore, even just for a second, to see how is she now. In the past I felt the urge to see her, to explain to her the true reason why things between us went the way they went. I like cycling so, many times I went to her place in random days just to see if I could see her coming back home from town or near her house. It was a fantasy but I always thought. What are you doing, there's no way you'll see her, you must be crazy, random days, 20km to get here and magic! She is there when you arrive at her place. Idiot. You can imagine what happened. Of course I never saw her, it was like winning the lottery huh? Back to this morning. I got nervous, since i couldn't fall asleep until like a lightning in my mind I felt: Get up take the bike and you'll see her. Without questioning this thought I got up immediately, got prepared and went out. 20KM later I got to her place. She wasn't there. There's a little square in front of her house. I decided to rest there for a while. Not even 5 minutes later a car stopped near me..... It was her!!! Hahahahaha I couldn't believe it! I ignored her and when she saw me she went away but who cares. How many possibilities I had to make something like this happen..... How many variables? You could say it's just a coincidence. I would have said that too not long ago but isn't it a big coincidence that a big coincidence happened the only time I believed it to happen? I stopped 3 times before getting to her place. What If I stopped 4 or 2 or, what if I didn't decide to sprint on that hill or slow down in that round about.... As you guys said no one can prove this to be a coincidence or that I influenced reality by believing in something but I asked myself: what do I have to lose in believing in myself even if it's just my imagination? Things begin to work? The outcome is what matters and a s far as I know this stuff works 100%
I always thought that you just had to be lucky to get a lucid dream. When I found out you can actually practice getting them, I did a little research and found this website.
When I read that you should start by keeping a dream journal, I felt a little sad, because for the previous few months I could not remember my dreams when I woke up (I used to think I didn't dream at night).
Before I went to sleep I thought to myself: "I'm going to sleep, and I will remember what I dream." For the next five days straight I was able to remember 2-5 dreams each night. :)
haha! Thanks bakbaba!http://static3.dreamviews.org/smilies/BananaRock.gif
Here are my results from the past eight days using this method.
My method (changed it up a bit the last 5 days): "I'm a master lucid dreamer. I have lots of lucid dreams each time I go to sleep. I have at least five to six lucid dreams a day. I'm awesome, man!" Imagine dream I want to have, say: "This is a dream. I'm dreaming!" Go to sleep. WBTB. Do same. Usually have lucids after going back to sleep.
Lucid Dreams
Friday (April 15): 1
Sat: 2
Sun: 0
Mon: 2
Tue: 0
Wed: 1
Thurs: 0
Fri: 1
Total: 7 lucids in 8 days.
Conclusion/Notes: This is a pretty great improvement for me! I'll continue using this method from now on. As you can see from my method above, I put MILD back into the equation, because it’s how I usually get LDs. Now with the added affirmation before it, I have more LDs than I usually do.
I wish I had noticed this thread earlier.
I want to stress that using the techniques that you have learned, such as reality checks, dream journals, and WBTB, etc. are still your best bet for making lucid dreams happen. This is especially true for your first few lucids.
Without trying I usually have a couple of lucid dreams per week, but when I actually attempt to induce them, I can have dozens.
"Not trying" is not really the point here.
"Not stressing over it" is closer, I suppose.
Lucid dreaming is easy if you know that it is.
I agree, this method is not the best for someone who never had lucid dreams. It's harder to convince yourself you're the best in doing something you've never experienced :) And yes I think not stressing is the key, but still you need repetition every day, you can't just say it once in a week and expect it to work consistently. The language we speak is deeply rooted in the subconscious and this happened because of daily constant repetition. With repetition things become habit. Experienced lucid dreamers, wether they do it consciously or not, might program themselves (becoming lucid over and over again) to the point that their subconscious accepts lucid dreaming as a habit and they don't need particular techniques anymore. After only two months I was already getting sick of reality checks, can you imagine yourself doing them every day for 10 years. It's a nightmare :D
I wonder if u could cross the dreaming barrier permanently and have lucid dreams every night by being in touch with yourself, i mean lsd and shrooms have changed me in so many ways to the point that ive changed every single aspect of my life, i found what the "super conscious" is thats stated in the begging of the thread by breaking through my conscious mind on these beautiful eyeopening entheogens, im in no way encouraging anyone to take them.
I've reached peace and enlightenment by going through so many things in life and by making myself me if that makes any sense and im only 16, ive only truly found 2 others like me but i feel as if im at a far more mature level in many ways. I feel as if everyone is a part of me and treat everyone with the utmost respect, when im high of sweet sweet mary jane i feel as if i can pass vibes onto people, on lsd im at a point so beyond human comprehention where im in control of everyone and everything that happens, its not something everyone goes through but its what i do, i look towards a spiritual adventure and mind opening experience and i feel as if its gotten me closer to lucid dreaming, i know for a fact that i can share dreams with other people cause its happened before and itll happen again
I'm just curious if anyone thinks the way i do about being able to cross over to ur dreams and have total control every night :)? And sorry for ranting on lol
Here it goes.
(Watch... I'll end up with a lucid tonight. I don't know how.)
i kept on trying with this... hasnt worked, and no, i am not having lucids every night and forgeting. that is really unlikely, since i have very good natural recall, lucids are easier to remember, and ive been remembering about 4 dreams a night so im not lucid and forgetting unless im getting in some extra sleep cycles. i think im just going to excercise this muscle a little before trying this more, using autosuggestion and waking up with no alarm and stuff.
research 'the secret'
it all has to do with the secret..everything in life
and this stems directly from the secret..trust me...watch the secret, and read the book, and it will CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Today I had an idea. I have a digital voice recorder that I use to memorize faster my dreams when I recall them instead of writing them down (I write them down later in the day). I recorded myself saying the commands I want to plant in my subconscious. I find it easier to feel excited hearing the affirmations rather than thinking about them, I find it more natural, I can concentrate more on what I feel, and I can also visualize while I'm hearing them. Since it's my voice it's quite like thinking, I have a higher trust in these affirmations. Of course this is not necessary but it's something that could help you :P
Yes, this is a very interesting method. I often use it in life. But this morning, i order two lucid dreams and get nothing, but usually have at least one :)
