any tips before i get started?
Well like I always say be confident, and you can do it! Make sure your in a comfortable position and just relax. Have you heard of the flex/limp technique? You flex every muscle in your body and then go limp and it is really good for relaxing. Don't focus on any thoughts you have too much, just let them pass by.
So just relax and wait until your body gets numb but don't fall asleep! If you feel it's not working then you can switch positions. If you start seeing SP images then just remember that they're not real and to stay calm. Then from there imagine your dream scenery and begin your lucid dream! I would wake up maybe 5.5 hours after you fall asleep to try the WILD, by then you should feel relaxed enough. Good luck!

Be comfortable, that's, IMO, the most important thing for WILDs.
I would've WILDed today, but i had a VERY long dream and i had to DJ it before it was too late
When you hit a dry spell just move on to another method that gets you excited about lucid dreaming again.
