What would that achieve? I took a break, and didn't do anything. Guess what? Doing nothing achieves nothing!
Just make a conscious effort to get back into it.
It sounds like you're just getting a bit tired from doing it all the time. Reduce the frequency of your observations and boosts in awareness, but focus more than you normally do when you look around, etc. Try WBTB if you haven't yet, or MILD. If you still aren't getting results, take a few days off and affirm to yourself that you'll get a lucid very soon.
...Why do I keep posting right after you, Mancon? xD
And your posting right after mancon because mancon is AWESOME!
Breaks don't help at all imo. They can never achieve anything, and the whole idea that you become refreshed is silly to me. You would simply fall out of practice and habit and would have to start again. It's not like looking at your hands is stressful.
Or just take a break. Whatever you do, having a break once in a while gives your mind time to process things and helps you see new perspectives.
Should i write in my DJ
Okay im trying to take a break but i cant, so i will continue :)
I've been quite lazy for a week, losing motivation even when I was getting good results.
I'm resuming progress today eg. I remembered 3 dreams, not fragmented like the past few nights
Take a break but stay focused on your dream recall.

shoot. please remind me of what ADA stands for, precisely
Kingyoshi's DILD technique, "all day awareness", that involves spreading out your awareness throughout the day. :)
Man, it pains me to see people try so so hard just to have a few lucids. I would say the 2 things that have ever held me back from lucid dreaming is frustration and my everyday worries. I had to force myself to learn not to worry about anything. One way is to think like this: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_M...s640/oKsGl.png
Getting into this state of mind opens things up for you, especially lucid dreaming.
nice picture, i should get into this state of mind
I'm not 100% into that state of mind yet. It's still a human thing to have worries. I have insomnia some nights so I might worry if I can fall asleep and get up early sometimes. Those nights I don't have lucids.
okay thanks :)
i am starting to wild so i might pop a question or 100
nah i won't, i do them in the morning, so if i fail, i'll wake up :P
thank you :)
