Times/durations to nap
I read this on one of the WILD tutorials here: 'Afternoon naps are also a good time to make an attempt, since most people have a REM cycle in the late afternoon or early evening.'
Just wondered if anyone can elaborate a bit on this... By REM cycle, does that mean that one can often naturally enter an REM cycle at this time, provided you had some sleep the night before?
I generally nap at 7:30pm (Can't go any earlier, really, as dinner and letting my chinchilla's out for exercise would interfere) and I don't think they come on quickly, although I don't know if this isn't just a matter of poor recall.
What is the best duration to nap to begin entering an REM cycle if you've had a good solid sleep the night before? And apologies for the multiple questions in one thread.

I'm no expert. But I think it's not the same for everyone, it differs from person to person. You'll have to find out for yourself when on the day your REM cycle is active if i'm not mistaken.

i'm told it all comes down to sleep cycles. 2-3 cycles, i'm told as well, are necessary for meaningful/ healthy sleep.
