4- go to bed around 9pm, make sure you set your alarm for 3am then go to bed , but before you go to sleep do the WILD method with your earplugs and sleep mask on just to get the feel for it, do it until you feel drowsy and then drift off, remember to lay on your back when WILDing,
5- get up at 3am use the bathroom get some water eat a banana, (you might need to brush your teeth after this because bad breathe will get in the way of your WILDing.
6- wait until about 3:30 and get ready to WILD

This is very interesting. I've always found that if your inner clock is set, then it's not the number of hours you've slept that determines whether you will be entering REM real soon, but just what time it is. Two examples: 1) The one time I got it right, I got virtually zero sleep that night, but in the morning, I just put my head down, and boom, vibrations. 2) When I came back from Europe, I was 6 hours jetlagged or so. I went to bed at around midnight our time anyway (i was REALLY tired). I woke up from a really vivid nonLD, and to my surprise, it was only 2AM.
