Can someone plz list a way to lucid the eayest way to lucid.
RCs all the time. dont just go through the motions. really ask yourself if you are dreaming or not, and mean it. actually think u may be dreaming and think u are until u prove your not. do MILD every time u sleep and do WBTB alot. that all i know yo
ive tryed that. i have a very bad memory and forget mid way through the day :(
If there were and easy surefure way to lucid anytime everyone here would be talking about it.
My favorite method is.... I tried to look for it and I cant seem to find it in the tutorial section oh well. IT was the one where when you wakeup you keep your eyes closed and beginnning moving 2 fingers like you are altenately playing 2 keys on the paino and you do that and eventually you realize you are dreaming and then you can go form there.
well not shure fire but really really good juest throw up suggestions

if you are reffering to forgetting to perform RCs, then print up something saying REALITY CHECK in various locations around your room. it works
*heh heh heh*:chuckle: *shakes head* I juest dont like doing it. i need a more hands on way like wild.
do a google search on "bird's lucid dreaming site" thats where i found the WBTB method
oh and determination and not giving up, thats how it worked for me
try setting a wrist watch to alarm hourly and when it goes off do an RC then while you sleep leave the watch beside u, hopefuly u will register the noise and do an RC in ur dream. hope that helped :DQuote:

The best way to become lucid is to read all the stuff from DV main site and do what it suggests. Learning to lucid dream just needs a lot of hard work - nothing comes for free in this world.
Start with a dream journal. When you remember at least 1 dream per night start doing reality checks throughout the day. Catalog your dream signs and use them to attain lucidity. Try different techniques - there just simply is no technique that works for everyone.
If you train intensively for a couple of weeks or months, you should have no problem with lucid dreaming.
By never asking these questions again
lol thanks all but all your telling me is stuff i allready know or tryed.(and its makeing me feel like a GIANT newb but im not i've gotten to the hyponic sound and imgary of wild and my arm felt like it was ripped off ; to top it off i was hot cuz my fan stopped working mid-way through the night. gave up :( ) i juest wanted to try a new approach something barely anybodys herd of something that when used almost inshures lucidity and contrul.*sigh* but im proably juest asking for the impossable right now.I guess ill keep tryan at wild :undecided: .
well, considering how WILD is the hardest thing to do (granted there are a few "naturals" that can do it like it's nothing) it wouldn't be the "start off" suggestion. i've almost done it too, but haven't been able to since. right now i'm experimenting with a bunch of different methods. i have been doing WBTB, but that wasn't working so i just went back to a regular night of trying to remember as many dreams as i can, then last night i took jay dawg's suggestion of a brainwave mp3, the lucid dream induction one. well i must've played it too loudly because the voice kept waking me up everytime it triggered to me that i was dreaming. so i'm gonna try that again but not as loud. then if that doesn't work i'm going to do WBTB and watch a scene about lucid dreaming from "Waking Life" for the 30 minutes after i wake up. i have to try that soon since i have to return it to hollywood video... anyway, you should start off with WBTB and MILD. i'm going to keep doing these till i see some result.
Not really.Quote:

Again: You should start off with dream journal and reality checking. MILD is meant to use when you're somewhat experienced so that you remember your dreams well and can wake yourself up with your intention to wake up. However, if you can already do this, then go ahead.
Start off simple and build up the basic skills. After that you're ready to experiment with induction techniques.
Besides, with luck you will be able to have some lucid dreams only with the help of dream journal since you get to know your dreams better :)
there is no easy way of getting to LD...all methos work different for other people...you cant just have an easy way to Lucid Dream....Lucid Dreaming happens when it happens...It seems to me that you are pressuring yourself to hard to WANT to Lucid Dream..and that right there will more then likely make you not have any at all, or even remember your dreams---like you have been saying....
My suggestion is....just take it a day at a time...Just know that each night..you are going to dream...during the day just ask yourself..."What am i going to dream about tonight" cuz each night, you have Different dreams...and just try to realize you are dreaming, while you are dreaming...DILD...thats the way i always do it anywayz...it happens, when it happens...

(to hate): like i said b-4 i've done that allready
(to onedayremains4):well every time i try i get like 5 mins away from actually achiveing wild but i get anoyed. so im almost a natural cuz i've allways been able to get that far :?
(to spirtofthewolf):its defanitly not that i try to hard beceause for the last few days i've been tryan to normaly sleep (cuz from all the wild attempts im tired done like 2 weeks worth) but it might be that im focasing to much on the HI maby? :?
(to everybody else): thank you for your added support im going to gather all youve told me and try again(lol even tho i allready knew most of it  )
heres a in deapth decribision of how i wild each night
When i try to wild this is what happens to me:
go to sleep at 8:00
Wake up at or aurond 1:00
have a bite of choclate and sometimes a grape soda (barly ever )
wait bewteen 60-90 mintuets+Bathroom break+read about lucidty
go to sleep bewteen 1:00 and 1:30
concrate on breathing 4 about 30 min (kinda sigh on each exhale so i concrate on the breath)
slowly while still doing the above breathing thing concrate on each part of my body from feet up 2 the head (this gives me the sensation of my body becomeing paralized and heavy)
(I do this 6 or 7 times)
than i try to relax
i get the HI(hypnoic imiges) +somethins the sound
I get a weightless sensation(but sometimes i accendatly notice it and it goes away)
than my whole right arm feals like it was sent to a different demision (once it happend with both arms)
than everything stops i cant see HI anymore my arm(s) still feel(s) gone and,(i think this is why it didn't work), GOT REALLY ANOYED BECEAUSE IT IS SOMMER HERE AND MY FAN STOPPED WORKING. after this i couldent concrate i even tryed to pled with my sub-coincous to juest make me lucid ( i got my 1st HI after begging my sub-coincous 4 it)when i finaly moved it felt as if my whole right arm was slowly and painfully being re-connected to every nerve in my right shoulder! thats why im looking for a way simmlar to wild but slightly eayser
ok... what you just explained is your arm falling asleep, not "going into another dimension"Quote:

how long have you been trying to LD btw? nothing that lasts comes easy, thats just a lie brought on by our parents spoiling us, you cant expect to instantly be able to have LDs, my advicer is to do reality checks (and dont tell me i dont feel like it because if you do that obviously you dont really want to LD and you should just quit now and go do something else with your time. you have to remember that some people try for years and never have one.
it hurt more than it juest falling asleep i can tell the difference and you dont have to reality check to wild but with everybody saying i shoud i guess i will (when i rember)
(btw that was a anoligy i was tryan to express the signifence of the pain)
Best chance on a ld stays the midday nap!!!
Also very logic because its a sort of superlong wbtb!
You sleep light then and your brain waking transmittors are high, nature then works for you (getting lds) instead of against you.
Further do all ppl suggested to you...like dream diary, wbtb, mild, rc etc.
try sleeping 4 hours. stay up half the day like 7 hours or so. (or when u feel like u could drop from being tired). then wild should almost be instant.
ive had that pain u said. i moved my arm and i had full control but no feeling whatso ever. then it came back and was hurting really bad yes.
ummmmmmmmmm RCs dont help u do a wild. they help u do dild. come on dude. do them or else!
I'm not sure if it has been posted yet but this is a very good technique. It's basically just a reality check but it seems to work a whole lot better than normal reality checks.
Write a word on the back of your hand. I wrote AWAKE but you can write anything you want. As it is on the back of your hand you will see it a lot, consciously and sub-consciously. When you see and read the word, look away and check it again. Do this regularly throughout the day and eventually you'll notice it in dreams. And as soon as the writing is different to what it says in reality you will become lucid.
Using this method I became lucid within 3 days. The lucid dream was also my most vivid LD to date.
I woke up in my old bedroom. Went downstairs and noticed I was living in my old house again. I asked my mum why we had moved back to our old house and she said we'd always lived there. At this point I left the room and looked at my hand. Instead of it saying AWAKE it said A _ _ KE. As soon as I noticed the two underscores instead of W + A I fell over in amazement and became lucid. I then went on to have a fairly long lucid dream but towards the end I began to lose lucidity and as I was "lost in the moment" I forgot to increase clarity and woke up.
