If you had to tell someone how to become lucid in one sentence, whatwould you say?
This may sound like a trite topic, but I am interested in getting the wisdom of many lucid dreamers distilled as far as possible.

I'd encourage you to give a read at this great topic made by BrandonBoss, it relates a lot with yours :)
Know and be aware.
Is this a dream, and why or why not?
Start a dream journal, choose an reality check, raise your awareness, be confident, and keep trying! :)
I've been absorbing it slowly. The focus is a little different than this one, but that is an excellent topic.
Read Stephen LaBerge, the tutorials and posts here on dreamviews and any other resources you can find!
why isn't this a dream?
This phrase seems to capture the feeling that you get when you get that crazy LD that you are 100% sure that it is real, but it isn't! Haha. That is a huge turning point in a LDers life I think. Someone asked me that when I was telling her about lucid dreams. I told her that it could always be a dream, and how useful RCs can be. :)
:P feel free to post on my thread if you want to! I would love more information from everyone, we have some good posts there right now already.
(I'm assuming you mean lucid in dreams?)
"Be lucid in waking life so you stay lucid in dreams."
This is all a dream, i am already dreaming :)
Very cool. BTW, I like Milarepa, but he can be infuriating. Must have something to do with all that sorcery and eating those nettles.
keep at it, and also look into certain foods that increase the chances of lucidity( green tea is one of them )
