      How to attain lucidity in one sentence

      If you had to tell someone how to become lucid in one sentence, whatwould you say?

      This may sound like a trite topic, but I am interested in getting the wisdom of many lucid dreamers distilled as far as possible.

      why isn't this a dream?

      This phrase seems to capture the feeling that you get when you get that crazy LD that you are 100% sure that it is real, but it isn't! Haha. That is a huge turning point in a LDers life I think. Someone asked me that when I was telling her about lucid dreams. I told her that it could always be a dream, and how useful RCs can be.

      This is all a dream, i am already dreaming
      Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way

      Very cool. BTW, I like Milarepa, but he can be infuriating. Must have something to do with all that sorcery and eating those nettles.

      keep at it, and also look into certain foods that increase the chances of lucidity( green tea is one of them )
